Phil Flaherty
Phil Flaherty is the founder and lead advisor at GTM Strategies, a boutique go-to-market-advisory, to advance our clean energy future through the creation and adoption of technology.
With over 20 years of experience, Phil Flaherty has led sales, marketing, and operations teams in the Cleantech space. Within large institutional organizations and startups, Flaherty has a proven track record of consultative sales to C-suite and mid-level executives within the complex and evolving energy sector. Deep understanding of the impacts and opportunities created by grid modernization, distributed resources (solar, wind, electric vehicle, battery storage), and an evolving business model.
Before founding GTM Strategies, Flaherty served as the Sr. Vice President of Sales & Delivery at Bidgely, where they secured millions ($) in enterprise SaaS revenue and facilitated the integration of best practices into a growing team. Prior to Bidgely, he contributed to the growth and acquisition of Ecova as well as the development and implementation of demand-side management programs at Xcel Energy.
He holds an MBA from The George Washington University School of Business and a BS in Environmental and Renewable Resource Economics from Penn State University. As a transformative and service-based leader, Flaherty has led many great teams, but there is none he is more proud of than his three young sons.
